SMW Kitchens is delighted to unveil a renovated kitchen and pantry that seamlessly blend contemporary design with Scandinavian influences. This project stands as a testament to our dedication to creating spaces that are not only visually stunning but also immensely functional and welcoming.
Design Philosophy and Color Scheme:
The renovation journey began with a detailed color and design consultation, focusing on a palette that harmoniously blends white, grey, timber, and brass tones. Doors and panels were crafted with 2 Pac Polyurethane in a ‘V Shaker’ profile, finished in Vivid White with a satin touch, embodying the modern yet timeless appeal of the space.
Cabinetry and Hardware:
To enhance the kitchen’s contemporary flair, we incorporated electric lift-ups above the cooktop and Momo Barrington Eclipse Ribbed handles in Matt Brass, adding a touch of sophistication. The solid timber glass cupboards in Blackbutt, complete with downlights and glass shelves, create an elegant display area.
Countertops and Splashback:
The island features an 80mm Smartstone ‘Calcatta Crema’ benchtop with an Aris edge and a striking Black Butt timber feature, serving as a stunning focal point. The remaining countertops are fashioned with 40mm Smartstone ‘Calcatta Crema’, maintaining a sleek and unified look. A full-wall Smartstone ‘Calcatta Crema’ splashback behind the cooktop and glass cupboards adds continuity and luxury.
Additional Features:
This galley kitchen is equipped with an undermount sink, soft-close runners, hinges, and an integrated dishwasher panel, ensuring functionality matches the aesthetic appeal. The inclusion of 2 x 32mm solid Blackbutt timber floating shelves adds a warm, natural element.
